Symphony of the Seas is 362 metres long – in comparison, the Washington Monument stands at 169 metres and the Eiffel Tower at 324 metres.  The ship weighs 228,081 gross registered tons (GRT) – that’s more than 17,000 African elephants – and is made up of 500,000 individual parts.

Fun Fact 2

The ship can accommodate up to 5518 guests in double occupancy and 2200 crew. There is a total of 18 decks (16 guest decks), 2759 staterooms and 188 suites, and approximately 5,200 restaurant seats across 23 dining venues.

There are 7 distinct neighbourhoods: Boardwalk, Central Park, Entertainment Place, Pool and Sports Zone, Youth Zone, Royal Promenade, Vitality Spa and Fitness Center.

The ship is also home to more than 20,700 lush tropical plants, more works of art than the Louvre museum and 25 pools, whirlpools, FlowRider surf simulators and waterslides – which contain more than 94 times the water of one eruption of Old Faithful, the cone geyser at the Yellowstone National Park in the US!

At 45.7m above sea level, the Ultimate Abyss is taller than Buckingham Palace in England, and the Bionic Bar serves up to 1,000 drinks per day, with 21 mixers, and 30 spirits, created by two robotic bartenders!
