Following the success of last year’s first-ever ‘Extreme Day Trip’, Ambassador Cruise Line will once again be hosting the event, taking trade partners on an exclusive one-day trip to experience a taste of the affordable quality cruise line’s Caribbean fly-cruise programme.

Taking place on Tuesday 22 September 2026 – when Renaissance will be calling at Barcelona as part of her Spanish Escape itinerary for the French market – the ‘Extreme Day Trip’ will offer UK agents an insight into Renaissance’s unique winter Caribbean sailings firsthand.
Offering trade partners a taste of the stylish interiors, outstanding cuisine and laid-back atmosphere, the initiative will see trade partners flown from London Luton to Barcelona.
On arrival at the cruise terminal, they will be welcomed aboard Renaissance with a cocktail reception on the Pool Deck, ship tour and Caribbean-themed lunch in the ship’s Louchebem restaurant.
Agents will also enjoy an exclusive trade presentation, transfers to and from the airport, and the chance to explore the ship’s public spaces, lounges and entertainment venues – a preview of what guests can expect during Renaissance’s second Caribbean fly-cruise season running from October 2026 to March 2027.
The programme features direct Virgin Atlantic charter flights to Barbados from the UK, departing from London Heathrow and Manchester with a choice of four onboard flight experiences — Upper Class, Premium, Economy Delight and Economy Classic.

Ambassador’s Extreme Day Trip: How to Enter
To be in with a chance of winning a place on the ‘Extreme Day Trip’, trade partners booking any Ambassador fly cruise or no-fly ex-UK sailing between Friday 18 July and Thursday 30 July 2026.
Agents simply need to email their name, agency name, ABTA number and proof of booking to jade.cheadle@ambassadorcruiseline.com. All entries must be submitted by 16:30 on Thursday 30 July 2026.
Agents will then be entered into a prize draw to win one of the spots on the ‘Extreme Day Trip’, with winners to be announced on 04 August 2026.
Flights and overseas transfers will be covered by Ambassador, although agents will be asked to arrange their own transport to and from London Luton and cover parking costs. Agents who travelled on last year’s ‘Extreme Day Trip’ are not eligible to enter this competition.
