Celebrity Cruises announces Celebrity Beyond will sail from Southampton in Summer 2028.

The innovative third ship of the brand’s Edge Series will return to Europe for the first time since 2023, offering seven-to-14-night sailings from the UK to some of Europe’s most breathtaking destinations including Norway, Iceland and Scandinavia.
As part of its 2028 deployment, Celebrity Apex will homeport from Amsterdam, Netherlands, providing more guests across Northern Europe with the opportunity to sail on an Edge Series ship and discover the best of Norway, Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal, and the British Isles on seven- to 14-night itineraries.
With excellent air, rail and ferry connections into Amsterdam from across the UK and Ireland, the new deployment also offers a convenient and accessible gateway for guests to visit destinations across Europe.
Trade partners will be able to register guests’ interest in Celebrity Cruises’ 2028 Europe season ahead of the official on-sale date of 25 August 2026.
Guests who pre-register through their travel agent will be among the first to discover itinerary details and booking information, giving them early access to plan their next unforgettable European holiday.
With a longer and sleek profile, guests can look forward to the best of Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series on Celebrity Beyond with more than 30 restaurants, bars, and lounges, offering globally inspired cuisine and the chance to try a new dish at every meal.
Guests departing Southampton will be able to experience Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud – Celebrity’s global culinary ambassador and world-renowned chef and visit the World Class Bar, which offers handcrafted cocktails and premium spirits made by expert mixologists.
Plus, beginning in November 2026, a renewed Celebrity Beyond will introduce enhanced outdoor escapes designed to further elevate the Celebrity Cruises experience:
- Orange Peel Bar & Grille: Orange Peel Bar & Grille anchors the poolside experience with a menu that features smashburgers and other grilled favourites alongside frozen cocktails. Guests can enjoy service whether seated nearby or relaxing poolside.
- Tacos del Sol: Tacos del Sol introduces a casual, open-air concept centered around Mexican-inspired flavours. The venue features a build-your-own taco stand with a range of options and fresh toppings for poolside dining.
- Celebrity Pool Club: Guests can dive in with more shade, more personalised service, more entertainment, and some unexpected treats at the new Celebrity Pool Club on Celebrity Beyond. The Pool Valet offers poolside services and amenities like sunscreen or a chilled towel, or go VIP with a cabana featuring dedicated service and elevated sips and bites.
- Bora brings a Mediterranean-inspired rooftop concept to Celebrity Beyond. First introduced on Celebrity Xcel, the venue shifts from day-to-night, offering a lively brunch featuring customisable cocktails, while evenings are centred on chef-led tableside dishes and shareable plates.
Unforgettable onboard experiences like the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered multi-purpose venue offering the best views of Europe, and The Retreat, complete with a dedicated butler, private restaurant, exclusive lounge and two-story sundeck, provide unique ways for guests to soak up coastlines.
Guests can unwind at The Spa with more than 120 treatments to choose from, and enjoy energetic evenings with elevated entertainment including production shows that rival the West End, and parties to dance the night away.
With an innovative outward-facing design, guests can enjoy breathtaking views high atop the ship from the Rooftop Garden, which features two cantilevered infinity pools, the 180% larger Sunset Bar which draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, and expansive open-air spaces throughout The Resort Deck and Celebrity Pool Club.
