Hosted by Explora Journeys’ President Anna Nash, the global showcase brought together UK trade partners, with over 300 international media and travel professionals, for an exclusive first look onboard the brand’s newest ship.
Antonio Paradiso, Vice President & Managing Director UK & Ireland, and Priti Mehta, Senior Head of Sales, welcomed advisors on the four-night sailing from Civitavecchia to Barcelona (29 July–2 August), where immersive onboard experiences and hands-on sales training equipped them to confidently grow luxury ocean bookings.
The programme included guided ship tours, a destination experience in Portofino, hosted dinners and an opening keynote from Anna Nash.
Advisors also attended dedicated business sessions, including Discover the Explora Experience, exploring the brand’s defining pillars, from intuitive hospitality and holistic ocean wellness to epicurean excellence, and The Art of Listening and Selling, designed to equip advisors with practical techniques to convert enquiries into bookings.
Antonio Paradiso, Vice President & Managing Director UK & Ireland, Explora Journeys, said:
“Our Travel Advisor partners are fundamental to the success of Explora Journeys, and our ambition is to make us the easiest luxury ocean travel brand to sell.
“Experiencing EXPLORA III before she entered service gave Travel Advisors genuine product knowledge, personal stories, and the confidence to match the right clients with our distinctive ocean travel experience.
“As our fleet grows and our global deployment expands, we’re committed to giving our trade partners every opportunity to succeed.”
EXPLORA III is the third ship to join the Explora Journeys fleet, creating new opportunities for Travel Advisors to sell itineraries across Northern Europe, Iceland & Greenland, the US & Canada East Coast, the Caribbean and Central America, before the ship heads to Alaska in 2027.
