Early bookings made before 30 September 2026 can save up to £650 per person or £1,300 per couple, based on March 2028 departures of the 22-day Highlights of Australia and New Zealand tour.

Ben  Hall, AAT  Kings Group CEO, said: “Our new programme for 2027/28 offers some fantastic new shorter breaks and tours that we’ve created for travellers who have less time but still want an enriching and memorable experience in Australia or New Zealand.

“Ideal for people wanting to combine a tour with a hotel or family stay or combine multiple shorter tours throughout their time in the region, the new season tours combine exceptional moments, stories and connections – that are worth it in every sense.”

Two types of Guided Holidays will continue to be offered – Small Group and Classic Tours.  Both blend exploration, iconic landscapes, seamless comfort, and unique adventures and experiences with expert guides – carefully curated over the brand’s 100+ year history.

Small Group tours feature intimate group sizes of 16 on average, with a more personalised and carefully curated experience, offering access to more remote destinations, locations and accommodation not suitable for larger groups.

Hall continued: “After introducing our Small Group tour product this season, we were thrilled to take some of our newly configured coaches out on the road to visit agents in Australia and the feedback was incredibly positive.

“With a fully customised interior featuring mood lighting, 47” seat pitch with generous recline, USB charging, WIFI, bathrooms and a full galley – they were described as the ‘business class of coaching’ and we are taking it!

“Introducing three new Small Group trips for 2027/28 is an evolution of this touring style and an indication of how popular it’s proving with our guests.

“It’s important that we continue diversifying our product so that agents can find the perfect tour at the right price point for each and every customer, without sacrificing on the experience overall.”

New Small Group tours for 2027/28 are:

Outback New South Wales Adventurer (ONSW) – a nine-day tour, roundtrip from Sydney. Departures available year-round, priced from £3,444pp with a £300pp early booking discount

Icons of Australia (ISMSE) – a 13-day tour, Melbourne to Sydney. Departures August to March, priced from £6,635pp including internal airfare, with a £424pp early booking discount.

“A benefit of having over 100 years of experience in planning Australia and New Zealand itineraries is being able to create memorable tours even for those with only a few days to spare. By focusing on smaller regions and minimising transit time, we can ensure that shorter breaks are just as memorable as tours of several weeks.

“These types of trips are especially rewarding in destinations such as the Kimberley, where the remote, rugged and vast landscapes can be challenging for independent travel,” continued Hall.
