The new flying programme responds to growing demand for ski holidays from across the UK and will make it easier for customers to travel from their local airport to some of Europe’s most popular winter destinations.

For winter 2027, Crystal Ski Holidays will introduce new services from Bournemouth, East Midlands and Belfast to Innsbruck, a new Bristol to Kuusamo route, alongside two new routes from Newcastle to Chambéry and Toulouse-Blagnac.

The six new flights will open up access to a wide range of resorts across Austria, Kuusamo, the French Alps as well as Andorra and the Spanish Pyrenees, giving agents more product to sell from key regional catchments and helping customers avoid longer journeys to larger airports.

The new Innsbruck services from Belfast, Bournemouth and East Midlands will operate weekly from 20 December 2027 until 4 March 2028. Innsbruck remains one of Europe’s leading winter gateways, offering easy access to popular Austrian resorts including Mayrhofen, Sölden, Obergurgl and Seefeld.

From Newcastle, customers will be able to fly weekly to Toulouse-Blagnac from 19 December 2027 until 5 March 2028, opening up access to Soldeu, Pas de la Casa, and Arinsal in Andorra as well as Baqueira-Beret in Spain.

The new Newcastle to Chambéry service will run weekly from 21 December 2027 until 1 April 2028, providing a direct route to some of the French Alps’ best-known ski areas, including Méribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isère, Tignes and Les Menuires.

The new Bristol to Kuusamo route is now on sale, offering customers another direct regional option for winter 2027 and 2028 and opening up access to Finnish Lapland, including the Ruka area.

As well as skiing and snowboarding, the route gives agents another experience-led product to sell, with customers able to add extras such as husky safaris, snowmobiling, reindeer sleigh rides, snowshoeing and Northern Lights searches to their Crystal Ski holiday.

The expanded programme gives the trade more regional flying options, more destination choice and more ways to convert customers who are looking for a simple, package ski holiday with flights, accommodation, transfers and in-resort support included.

Head of Crystal Ski Holidays, Scott Britton said: ”We know customers are looking for ski holidays that are easy to book and easy to get to, which is why we’re continuing to expand our regional flying programme.

“These six new routes give our customers across the UK even more choice and flexibility when planning their trip, with convenient departures to some of Europe’s most popular ski regions, including Austria’s Tyrol, Kuusamo, the French Alps and the Pyrenees.

“For our trade partners, that means more options to match customers with the right holiday, while the convenience of having flights, accommodation, transfers and support wrapped into one package makes booking a ski holiday simpler than ever.”

All routes will be available to book as part of a Crystal Ski Holidays package holiday through travel agents, giving customers the confidence of a complete ski package and the convenience of flying from their region.
