TUI River Cruises has unveiled its first-ever racing-themed cruise, From River to Racetrack.

The new sailing combines river cruising with a Grand Prix weekend in Budapest. It will depart aboard TUI Maya in July 2027 and is on sale from 26 October 2026.
A Seven-Night Danube Itinerary
The seven-night cruise combines a Danube river journey with one of the world’s most iconic motorsport weekends.
Departing on 26 July 2027, the sailing returns on 2 August 2027. Along the way, customers will visit Vienna, known for its opulent palaces, and Bratislava, home to a Baroque-style castle. The ship will also visit Budapest, where it will remain throughout the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend.
Guests will receive seated grandstand tickets and organised transfers to the Hungaroring circuit across all three days. Friday features practice, Saturday brings qualifying and Sunday hosts the main race.*
In addition, a guest speaker will join the sailing to share insights into the sport.

Price and What’s Included
The seven-night From River to Racetrack cruise aboard TUI Maya starts at £2,299 per person. The price is based on two adults sharing a Deck 1 Standard Cabin on a Full Board Plus basis, with one grandstand ticket per person.**
The package includes:
- TUI Airways flights from London Gatwick to Budapest on 26 July 2027
- 23kg of luggage per person
- Transfers, tips and service charges
- A seated grandstand ticket per person
- Organised transfers to the circuit on selected days
Full Board Plus includes tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine or beer with meals. Guests can choose house white, red or rosé wine at lunch and dinner. Alternatively, they can try specially selected regional wine at dinner or upgrade to All Inclusive.***
