Celebrate 50 years of CroisiEurope river cruising
With 50 years of river cruising behind it, CroisiEurope is marking the occasion with an extensive collection of festive voyages.
The 29 cruises cover nine European rivers and waterways. These include the Rhine, Danube, Seine, Elbe, Vltava and Guadalquivir.
Travellers can explore the Christmas markets of Alsace, enjoy the festive atmosphere of Paris or discover Prague’s historic Advent traditions. There are also options to spend Christmas in the warmer climates of southern Europe.
Discover Christmas markets and festive traditions across Europe
The collection features some of Europe’s most enchanting festive destinations. Each itinerary offers a chance to experience Christmas traditions in different cultures.
In Alsace, picturesque villages and traditional markets create a classic Christmas atmosphere. Further east, Prague and the Danube capitals welcome visitors with illuminated squares, seasonal delicacies and centuries-old traditions.
In Italy, Venice and Padua celebrate Advent with concerts and festive events. Meanwhile, Provence offers the chance to discover the traditional craft of Santon-making. These handcrafted nativity figurines have been part of the region’s Christmas heritage for generations.
In Andalusia, guests can enjoy the festive season with milder winter temperatures.
Enjoy a more intimate Christmas cruise
For a smaller-ship experience, CroisiEurope’s boutique hotel barges accommodate just 22 guests. They offer a relaxed way to explore Europe’s historic canals.
The Christmas markets of Strasbourg, Colmar, Ghent and Bruges are all within easy reach. Guests can enjoy festive sightseeing ashore before returning to the comfort of their barge.
Celebrate Christmas in warmer destinations
Christmas cruises are also available in warmer surroundings aboard Le Belle des Oceans and La Belle de l’Adriatique.

The offer covers cruises lasting between three and eight days. Departures are available from late November to late December 2026.
Prices start from £437 per person, reduced from £546 per person, for the three-day, two-night Magical Christmas in Alsace cruise. The departure date is 23 December 2026.
