Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have resumed flights and holidays to Iceland from Monday 7th February.
The airline said in a statement that a busy flight had departed from Glasgow Airport today.
Flights are scheduled twice-weekly (Monday and Thursday) to Iceland from Birmingham and Manchester Airports during key times this winter – available from 10th February through to 25th April from both bases, with stays of three nights or more available over the February half-term and Easter.
22 three and four-night dedicated trips will operate between February and April from seven other UK bases (Belfast International, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and London Stansted Airports).
Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person booking deposit.
Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights with Jet2.com, 22kg hold luggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik.
A guided Northern Lights Tour is included in all packages, with excursions to the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and South Shore also available to purchase.
