Singapore Airlines has confirmed the resumption of its full schedule from London Heathrow (LHR) to its Singapore hub at Changi Airport from 2 June 2022.
With four daily flights (28 weekly), the new frequency will also encompass Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL).
SQ317 and SQ319 currently operate as VTL flights; from 01 April and 02 June 2022 respectively, SQ305 and SQ321 will become VTL flights, meaning all London departures will be part of the VTL network.
The route will operate using B777-300ER, A380 and A350 aircraft.
Singapore Airlines has also entered into a partnership with Loganair, interlining seven routes, allowing UK customers greater connectivity onto SIA’s long-haul network to the USA, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
With the interline agreement, travellers are now able to transfer onto Singapore Airlines long-haul flights from Manchester (MAN) and London Heathrow (LHR) from their local airport, through a single booking.
Key locations and routes included in the new partnership include Aberdeen via Manchester, Inverness via Manchester, Isle of Man via Manchester or London Heathrow and Teesside via London Heathrow.
At Manchester airport, Loganair operates out of Terminal 1 and Singapore Airlines out of Terminal 2. At London Heathrow, both airlines operate out of Terminal 2.
