MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Grandiosa will sail the Norwegian Fjords region for the entire summer 2022 season.
The announcement follows the cruise line’s confirmation that it would suspend calls to St Petersburg, Russia.
Grandiosa will now be fully dedicated to the Fjords region with seven-night itineraries in Northern Europe from Kiel, Germany calling at Denmark, Copenhagen.
The ship then heads north to Norway, calling at the village of Hellesylt while experiencing Sunnylvsfjord, sail through Aurlandsfjord on the way to the port town of Alesund and Flam village.
MSC Preziosa and MSC Poesia also offer additional seven-night options next to MSC Grandiosa across the Norwegian Fjords region.
Both ships will still call in the Baltics but with St Petersburg replaced with other popular destinations in the region like Stockholm, Tallinn and Visby.
Guests originally booked on one of MSC Grandiosa’s former itinerary in the Baltics and still wishing to experience a cruise there can opt for departures with one of MSC Poesia’s or MSC Preziosa’s Summer 2022 itineraries:
