Princess Cruises has partnered with TimePlay to bring one of the world’s most popular TV game shows, Deal Or No Deal onboard its cruise ships.
The live, hosted experience offers contestants the chance to play and deal to win prizes including a free cruise and a grand prize of $1,000.
The experience is set to launch onboard Sky Princess, one of the line’s UK homeport ships for 2022 and 2023, but is also available on Discovery Princess, Regal Princess and Majestic Princess.
The cruise line said in a statement that it has plans to roll out the game show fleet-wide in the near future.
“Deal or No Deal offers a unique combination of entertainment and gamification that allows our guests to spectate or participate, in an extremely high-quality and realistic live experience of the popular TV game show,” said Denise Saviss, Vice President Of Entertainment Experience, Princess Cruises.
“This new interactive game show adds to the already impressive lineup of memorable entertainment offerings to be enjoyed on board.”
Deal or No Deal takes place in the Princess Theatre during every voyage.
Guests can play along with their ‘case card’ with a buy-in ranging from $25-$50, as well as be one of two contestants – selected at random – who play live on stage for a chance to win up to $1,000.
Guests in the audience who have purchased a game card are also working towards achieving eight matches to win up to $1,000 or a free cruise.

From March to October 2022, the 3,660-guest Sky Princess will sail on 24 voyages roundtrip from Southampton.
Itineraries range from seven to 25 nights and include the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, British Isles, Canary Islands, Canada and New England.
