Le Royal Méridien Doha has officially opened its doors and welcomed its first guests.
Located in Lusail – Qatar’s up-and-coming new city, the hotel features 240 guest rooms and 53 suites with sea or city views.
Also available are 137 residences including studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
The hotel is easily accessible from the airport or the city centre by limousine, taxi, metro or ferry, making it an ideal destination for culture seekers to discover Qatar.
Le Royal Méridien Doha is the closest hotel to Lusail Stadium and a quick 15-minute drive from downtown Doha, and a 12-minute drive to Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre.

With the launch, Qatar has expanded its list of exclusive and affordable five-star hotels, said the property in a statement.
The hotel’s timely opening is part of the country’s efforts to add over 100 new hotels and serviced apartments to its extensive portfolio of properties as the country gears up to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
Other properties recently launched include Zulal Wellness Resort and Banyan Tree Doha.
Rooms start from £172 (794 QAR) per night per room for two persons.
