Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara has introduced a whale shark viewing excursion for guests and residents.
The newly launched activity is launched in collaboration with Discover Qatar who will also provide a whale shark expert to accompany guests onboard.
Whale sharks feed close to the surface in the cooler waters of Qatar from April to September.
Guests will be able to view the slow-moving gentle giants for two hours from onboard the resort’s luxurious catamaran.
A professional photographer also is onboard to capture guests’ experiences on camera.
During the trip, a continental breakfast and sandwich buffet lunch will be served, along with other snacks and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara has also announced the reopening of its surf pool after undergoing extensive renovation.
Guests can now enjoy two wide surfing lanes simulating ocean waves, with every surf session given under strict supervision by one of the resort’s trained team members.
Private surfing lessons are available and the lanes may be booked exclusively for friends and family. The surf pool is open from 10.00 am until 10.00 pm and advanced booking is required.
