The Polish Tourism Organisation has launched its summer social media campaign, #PolandVibes.
The aim is to highlight Poland as a fun, safe and open destination for summer 22.
Tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants have re-opened, and the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office of the UK has no advisories about travelling to the country.
Despite this, the Polish government has reported rising cancellations to the country since the end of February.
As part of the campaign, the Polish Tourism Organisation will shine a light on Poland’s deep-rooted hospitality and attractions.
This will be done through digital influencers and content on social media platforms, and live web cam footage from across the country.
Visitors in Poland will also be invited to post their experiences on their social media feeds.
The organisation will be hosting a Twitter Chat #PolandVibes on Wednesday 29 June between 1 and 2 pm UK BST.
Over the next few months Poland will welcome a range of high-profile artists to play at their major music venues and festivals.
Warsaw’s Letna Scena Progresja – Poland’s biggest music club – will host Alt-J, Shaggy and Tom Odell while festivals such as The Open’er include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + The Machines and LCD Soundsystem as headliners.
The Krakow Live Festival will headline with Lewis Capaldi and Pol’and Rock Festival in Czaplinek will host the biggest free event in Europe from 4-6 August.
Classical music fans can look forward to the 63rd season of Chopin Concerts in the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, which holds performances every Sunday until 25 September.
Art lovers can explore contemporary art galleries in Warsaw such as Fundacja Stefana Gierowskiego or enjoy1980s Polish art at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art.
History buffs can visit The Royal Castle, and learn all about how the structure was blown up and rebuilt.
Poland is also inviting visitors to explore its fast-growing culinary scene.
Dorota Wojciechowska, the UK’s Director of the Polish Tourism Organisation said: “As Poland is in the heart of Europe, our citizens have done everything they can to help our neighbours in their hour of need.
“But it is worth remembering that our major cities are all located far from the border crossing with Ukraine, and by supporting the Polish tourism economy, you can also help us to help Ukraine.
“We are a big-hearted nation, and we are still warmly welcoming visitors, whether they are looking for R&R or refuge.
“Our tourist attractions, hotels and restaurants are open as usual, and we are very much looking forward to a summer of cultural highlights where visitors will continue to receive the excellent hospitality and warm welcome long associated with Poland.
“If you would like to contribute to the campaign, tell us what you love about Poland with the hashtag #PolandVibes.”
