MSC Europa To Feature ‘Largest & Most Action-Packed’ Kids Facility

MSC Cruises has revealed details of a dedicated kids and family facility onboard MSC World Europa.

Spanning 766m2, the new ship, which is set to debut in December 2022, will feature “the largest, most action-packed kids’ area in MSC Cruises’ fleet”.

The kids’ area will offer seven distinct spaces dedicated to different age groups from 0 to 17 years old.

Activities will be organised according to age group:

  • Especially for babies: Baby Club for toddlers up to 3 years, with qualified crew members
  • For the younger kids: Mini Club and Juniors Club (3 – 11 years)
  • For the older kids: Young Club and Teen Club (12 – 17 years) including the brand-new TEENS LAB, a totally immersive, tech-filled, modern room just for teens

Dedicated childcare service will also be available in collaboration with Chicco – the leading global baby brand and a long-term MSC Cruises partner.

Matteo Mancini, Kids’ Entertainment Manager at MSC Cruises said: “We have invested heavily in the entertainment offering for our younger guests, and we know they value the latest technology, trends and experiences.

“We have worked to introduce real innovations in both the design of the facilities as well as the development of an incredible programme of activities, all carefully planned to ensure that the differing needs of all age groups are met – from our youngest guests through to teenagers.

“More than 350,000 young people who have travelled with us over the years and we have listened to their feedback.

“MSC World Europa reflects these learnings and we have been inspired to create experiences that blend technology and social media with activity and sport to create fresh and new entertainment for the kids who sail with us.”

Brand-new activities waiting to be discovered include a LEGO Celebration Room, high-tech activities, an Asian-entertainment-inspired game show, a digital game show dedicated to music, a brand new sports programme for teens and kids, and a high-tech and high-energy drone relay race.

Popular favourites will also be returning including Cabin 12006 – a live entertainment experience, MSC Dance Crew, LEGO experience onboard, and projects with MSC Foundation Junior Ambassadors.
