easyHotel To Open Fifth Property In Spain

easyHotel has acquired its first site in Valencia, Spain, at 7-8th Rojas Clemente sq.

The plot, which is licensed for development, will be the site of a 95-room hotel. It will be the first easyHotel in the region and fifth in Spain said the brand in a statement.

In Spain, easyHotel is currently present in both Barcelona and Malaga.

The brand will also be opening a 230-room property in Madrid later this year, and another second-owned location in Barcelona in 2024.

easyHotel said that the move represents the latest step in its strategy to become Europe’s leader in low-carbon, affordable hotels.

The new hotel, which is expected to open in 2024, will have a breakfast area and parking.

Located in a prime area, guests can expect excellent transportation links including a metro station and an AVE train station. The hotel will only be a 25-minute journey to Valencia airport.

The city’s most popular attractions such as the Central Market and Valencia Cathedral are also within walking distance from the hotel.

easyHotel’s international expansion strategy include plans to more than double its number of hotels to over 100 by 2026 with a network will include franchised, owned and rented hotels.

In the next 18 months, the company says that it is planning to expand to 65 hotels across 15 countries.
