Fred. Holidays has launched a brand new 11-night trip combining the Italian Lakes, Rhine River Cruise and Bernina Express.
Upon arrival in Italy by air or rail, guests transfer to Lake Garda for a three-night stay before taking the Bernina Express through the north of Italy, across the Alps and into Switzerland for an overnight in Chur.
The following morning, it’s a short train ride to Basel where guests embark on their luxury seven-night Amadeus river cruise along the Rhine.
This includes calls in Strasbourg, Speyer, Koblenz and Cologne and through the Middle Rhine Valley. The cruise finishes in Amsterdam where guests disembark and return to the UK by air or train.
With regular departures between May and October 2023, prices for this trip start from £2,795 per person and from £2,995 per person.
The price includes return rail or air travel from the UK; overseas transfers; and the three-night stay in Lake Garda with breakfast.
Also included is the journey on The Bernina Express; overnight accommodation in Chur with breakfast; and the seven-night cruise with all meals.
There will be wine with lunch and dinner, onboard entertainment, an unlimited excursions package, complimentary use of onboard bicycles and port taxes.
