CroisiEurope is resuming operations on the Mekong beginning 7th August 2022. The cruise line said in a statement that it will become the first river cruise operator to do so.
Customers can look forward to nine-day cruises between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap, and explore the temples of Angkor and the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake.
Experiences will include the city of Phnom Penh and cruising along the Cho Gao Canal.
CroisiEurope’s five ships on the Mekong are all small and intimate, each with their own individual charm and style:
- The RV Indochine 1 is a colonial-style ship, inspired by the old traditional boats on the Mekong. It has 24 cabins on three decks and can accommodate 48 passengers.
- The RV Indochine 2, with its clean, contemporary lines, has 31 cabins over three decks for 62 passengers, plus a swimming pool.
- The RV Lan Diep was inspired by old traditional boats on the Mekong and has 22 cabins over two decks which can accommodate 44 passengers.
- The RV Toum Tiou 1 is a colonial-style ship with 14 cabins over two decks, accommodating 28 passengers. The ship is the perfect size for a full-ship charter for families or groups or friends.
- The RV Toum Tiou 2 is a colonial-style ship with just 10 cabins over two decks, accommodating 20 passengers. The ship is the perfect size for a full-ship charter for families or groups or friends.
Each ship offers a panoramic restaurant serving delicious Asian and international dishes, an air-conditioned lounge, a sun deck, spacious cabins and a massage area.
The nine-day cruises between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap call in Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Tralach, Koh Chen, Phnom Penh, Chau Doc, Sa Dec, Vinh Long, Cai Be and My Tho.
Two optional land add-ons are also offered: a three-night trip combining two nights in Hanoi and a one-night Halong Bay junk cruise; and a six-night tour taking in Hue and its Imperial City, the partially-ruined temples in My Son and Hanoi and a one-night Halong Bay junk cruise.
