Iceland’s Greenhouse Hotel Ready To Welcome Guests

The Greenhouse Hotel Iceland is now open and ready to welcome international guests.

The new boutique hotel is “sustainability-focused and design-led”, with a “unique hospitality concept”.

It’s close to Iceland’s natural attractions so guests can easily explore waterfalls, geysers, glaciers, black sand beaches and the Golden Circle.

With a total of 50 rooms, guests can expect comfortable furnishings, smart TVs, and self-check-in.

Completed just last year, there’s also a shopping boutique, a lounge with weekly entertainment and 5 dining outlets including an ice cream parlour, a breakfast café, and a living room-style bar and lounge and a river lodge café nearby.

Brynjolfur J. Baldursson, Co-founder and CEO of Greenhouse Hospitality, said:

“A stay in our hotel offers a fun and lively atmosphere, stylish and contemporary rooms, a food hall with delicious dining options and entertainment.

“The Greenhouse makes an ideal three or four nights stay for international travellers to explore the stunning landscapes and natural attractions of our country”.

Activities include hiking through geothermal fields to the Reykjadalur Hot Springs with its 90-degree mineral waters and exploring nearby mountain ranges and Iceland’s landscapes.

The Greenhouse works closely with activity partners which allow guests to conveniently book their next adventure through the hotel.

Tours include riding through the mountains on Icelandic horses, an ATV tour on a black sand beach, dashing down a mountain on a biking trip, or an exhilarating white water rafting adventure.

The hotel also said that sustainability and protection of the environment are key aspects of its philosophy.
