Jet2.com yesterday celebrated its 100 millionth customer who travelled from Manchester Airport to Fuerteventura.
The 100 millionth customer, Kerry Williams from Failsworth in Manchester, was travelling with her friends and their children for a holiday to Fuerteventura. Kerry was gifted five pairs of free Jet2.com flights.
Other customers travelling on the same day also have a VIP customer experience at check-in including a red-carpet welcome, a balloon arch, palm trees and beach balls.
The airline said that it “has experienced substantial growth and success” since its first flight from Leeds Bradford Airport to Amsterdam in February 2003.
The company now operates 68 sun, city and ski destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands from across ten UK bases, compared to just nine when it first launched.
The programme now on sale with Jet2.com represents over 430 routes, with Alicante proving to be the most popular destination followed by Malaga, Palma (Majorca) and Tenerife.
On the back of the popularity of award-winning flights, the company launched ATOL-protected package holidays through Jet2holidays in 2007.
Today, Jet2holidays offers packages to many destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and Canary Islands, offering customers 65 sun and city destinations.
