Celebrity Cruises Announces Agent Incentives & Ship Visits

Celebrity Cruises says it is “putting travel agents at the heart” of its CLIA Cruise Week celebrations by increasing earning opportunities and providing even more ways to spend Celebrity Rewards.

The cruise line is increasing agent training this month with the relaunch of its agent Ship Visit programme across the UK and Ireland, as well as ‘Seminars at Sea’ onboard Celebrity Cruises ships.

Kicking off CLIA Cruise Week from 22nd September – 2nd October, travel agents will earn £23/€26 on every booking made on 2023 European sailings, across all stateroom categories.

This follows the cruise line’s recent launch of ‘Earn On Every Booking’, which was re-introduced following agent feedback.

To benefit from the rewards, agents must register bookings made over this period through Celebrity Central.

Celebrity is also introducing a limited-time additional onboard spend of up to $75 per person, alongside the brand new offer of up to $200 per person onboard credit, and 75% off for the second guests on bookings made before 3rd October 2022.

Continually keeping in tune with agents, Celebrity ramped up their rewards programme in August with the launch of brand new ‘Celebrity Auctions’.

The monthly auction offers agents the opportunity to bid against their peers and put their points towards a list of prizes, including personal cruise holidays to an array of exciting destinations.

To celebrate CLIA Cruise Week, a dedicated auction will take place on 23rd September 2022 with Elemis gift sets and bespoke Celebrity Cruises goodies up for grabs.

One lucky agent proven to have gone above and beyond during CLIA cruise week will win a 2022 European cruise for themselves and a guest in an exclusive Cruise Week prize draw.

The luxury cruise line has re-introduced agent ship visits in September, giving travel agents the opportunity to ‘feel like a guest’ and immerse themselves in everything the fleet has to offer.

Upcoming day visits include Belfast, Greenock and Southampton, with many more to be revealed for 2023.

Claire Stirrup Director of Sales, Celebrity Cruises UK&I says: “I’m so glad to see agents back together and onboard our ships with the re-launch of ship visits.

“This CLIA Cruise Week, we’re thrilled to be able to reward our travel partners for their support and highlight those that continue to go above and beyond, making outstanding efforts to book memorable cruise holidays for clients.”

Celebrity Cruises will also be hosting their most enriching training experience yet this September, named ‘Seminars at Sea’.

Two 4-night sailings on the new Celebrity Beyond will feature immersive training sessions and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, as well as hosted dinners and exclusive cocktail receptions.

Hosted by expert trainer, Leon Hand, the exclusive sailing will see valued travel partners expand their understanding of Celebrity Cruises’ offering, whilst passing through stunning ports like Livorno and Barcelona.

Agents can head to Celebrity Central for more information.
