Guernsey Arts and the National Trust will be launching a ‘Folklore Trail’ this October, featuring the illustrations of a soon-to-be-published children’s book, by Guernsey local, Penny Dawes.
The illustrations are based on the tales of Sir Edgar MacCulloch’s Guernsey Folklore, published in 1903.
As part of an island-wide ‘Folklore Trail’, her illustrations will be displayed in different locations around the island.
An exhibition of her works will also be held at Castle Cornet and the National Trust of Guernsey Folk and Costume Museum.
‘Folklore Trail’ and Exhibition
The family-friendly ‘Folklore Trail’ will be running from October 22nd, enabling families to experience it during the October half-term.
