MSC Cruises Launches New Booking Initiative With Exclusive Offers

MSC Cruises has announced a new booking initiative – MSC Pick of the Week.

Each Monday, MSC Cruises will announce a new must-see destination where customers will benefit from exclusive booking incentives.

This includes £100 onboard credit per balcony cabin and above and bookings for MSC Yacht Club, for specific cruises calling at the destination selected.

This week, MSC Cruises has elected Casablanca as a must-see destination.

Until 16th October, those who book a balcony cabin on selected sailings on board MSC Virtuosa to Casablanca will receive a credit of £100 to be spent on board during their trip.

The voucher can be used for a restorative massage at the MSC Aurea Spa or cocktails crafted by the star of the MSC Starship Club, Rob the Robotic Bartender.

MSC Virtuosa will sail from Southampton next year to destinations all over Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, including the jewel of Morocco, Casablanca.

A city where modernity meets the ancient world, with a mix of colonial and North-African architecture, it is a place like no other.

Here are the top five hidden gems:

  • Hassan II Mosque – This majestic wonder of Moroccan architecture is the 2nd largest functioning mosque in Africa and the 7th largest in the world set on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Abderrah Slaoui Foundation Museum – This privately owned property-turned-museum showcases an outstanding collection of local art, alongside traditional Moroccan and Berber jewellery.
  • Hammam Ziani – A traditional Moroccan Hammam, a great option for guests who want to feel restored and rejuvenated.
  • Old Medina Souk – Giving guests a peek into not only how Moroccans live now, but how they have lived for many years.
  • Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church – A modernist architectural building noted for its beautiful interior standing in stark juxtaposition compared to the other more traditional buildings surrounding it.

Onboard MSC Virtuosa, guests can witness the world’s first humanoid robotic bartender Rob, the star of the Starship Club.

There is also a shopping promenade with a stunning LED sky-screen overhead, and West End-style theatre shows and an onboard aquapark.

Sailings included in the offer depart from Southampton on 6th January on a 21-night cruise.

The ship ports in Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Le Havre (for Paris), Lisbon, Cadiz (for Seville), Casablanca, Funchal, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Arrecife de Lanzarote and La Coruna (for Santiago de Compostela) before returning to Southampton.
