StudentUniverse has announced the winners of its 2022 Best Airlines for Students Awards.
According to the world’s largest student and youth travel marketplace, British-based budget airline, easyJet, scooped the top prize for ‘Best Overall Airline’ for students in the UK.
Other winners included British Airways, which took home two awards in the categories ‘Best for Travel within Europe’ and ‘Most Trusted’.
Low-cost airline, Ryanair, was awarded for ‘Best Value’ and Emirates was awarded ‘Best for International Travel’.
The annual awards survey is distributed to StudentUniverse’s student and youth traveller database across the country.
Students voted for airlines which stood above the rest in six categories, including overall experience, value, service, trust, domestic and international.

Best Overall Airline Students & Youth: easyJet
Student feedback on the airline ranges from “I love the customer service and the ease of making a booking!” to “Cheap and budget friendly with a lot of destinations available” and “It’s cheap, consistently on time, and no hidden fees.”
Best for International Travel: Emirates
Best for travel within Europe: British Airways
Best value: Ryanair
Best service: easyJet
Most trusted: British Airways
