Emerald Cruises has added additional 2023 dates to three of its most popular river cruises in the Europe River Cruise programme.
Two new dates have been added to Emerald Cruises Christmas market sailings to Budapest, Vienna and Cologne.
The 8-day Christmas Market on the Rhine on 16 December 2023 and the 11-day Christmas Market on the Danube with Prague on 21 November 2023.
Guests will cruise between Amsterdam and Basel, visiting Cologne, Koblenz, Heidelberg, Strasbourg, and Breisach for visits to some of the most iconic Christmas markets.
Prices start from £2,260 per person on board Emerald Sun departing on 16 December 2023.
The 11-day Christmas Markets on the Danube with Prague departs on 21 November 2023, and journeys between Prague and Budapest, while visiting the Christmas markets of Regensburg and Passau.
Prices start from £2,890 per person on board Emerald Destiny departing 21 November 2023.
The popular Douro River Cruise programme has also been extended, with two extra dates inviting guests to enjoy the sights and tastes of Portugal into the autumn.
Sailing roundtrip from Porto, the 8-day Secrets of the Douro comes with an onboard cookery demonstration with a local Portuguese chef while sailing to Pinhão.
Included in the itinerary is a visit to an 18th-century vineyard estate in Quinta do Tedo and local Tuna Music during a guided tour of Salamanca.
Also on the itinerary is a cocktail-making lesson before arriving in Régua for dinner at Quinta da Pacheca wine estate before heading to Porto.
This eight-day river cruise sails on a round-trip from Porto and calls at Régua, Pocinho, Pinhão and Salamanca.
Secrets of the Douro itinerary departs on 18 November and 25 November 2023. Prices start from £2,415 per person sailing on board Emerald Radiance.
