Super Nintendo World has opened early at Universal Studios Hollywood last Thursday.
The soft opening leads up to its official launch in February 2023 and marks the arrival of Super Nintendo World in the United States.
Guests can look forward to the “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge” ride, as well as many thrilling and interactive activities within the Mushroom Kingdom.
Themed dining is available at the Toadstool Café and shopping at the 1-UP Factory retail store.
Super Nintendo World promises to “sweep guests into the 360-degree world of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach.
With the purchase of a Power-Up Band – a wearable, interactive wristband – guests will be able to deepen their interactions across the land.
“Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge”: An all-new, augmented-reality ride with projection mapping technology and actual set pieces along a moving ride track.
Mount Beanpole: This towering landmark sits at the heart of the land and also serves as the entry queue for “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.”
Bowser’s Castle: Home to the signature ride, “Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.” Guests navigate the winding corridors and pass through the hall of medallions and trophies of the ominous castle towards the ride.
Also available are interactive gameplay throughout the land and Toadstool Café for food and drink as well as 1-UP Factory for souvenirs and memorabilia.
