Kazakhstan’s Air Astana has appointed Andrew Fish as Country Sales & Marketing Manager UK and Ireland.
Andrew will report to Richard Ledger, Senior Regional Manager UK&I, Western Europe and Americas.
He will be responsible for placing Air Astana and Kazakhstan “in the hearts and minds of British travellers” along with driving awareness of the brand in the UK market.
Andrew brings more than 20 years of local and international travel experience to the role, covering aviation, car rental, technology and hospitality.
He joins from Finnair, where he held the position of General Manager UK, Ireland & Benelux.
He began his career as Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, before moving to Gulf Air as Leisure and Corporate Account Manager.
Subsequent roles include Director EMEA, Business Development at TRX and Global Government Sales Manager at HRG.
Andrew Fish says: “I am thrilled to be joining Air Astana at such a pivotal time for the airline. As we increase our flights from London Heathrow to five a week from April, we want to build awareness of our award-winning service out of the UK and develop relationships with key trade partners.”
