Jules Verne Launches New Channel Islands Tour

Jules Verne has launched a Channel Islands tour for 2023.

The company said it is the only tour that covers four islands in the English Channel – Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Herm.

Jules Verne’s General Manager Debbie O’Neill says: “We launched our Closer to Home range of UK tours during the pandemic.

“Then, in response to requests from customers wanting to travel closer to home but equally wanting something a little exotic, we launched the Islands in the Channel tour in 2023.”

According to the company, some Channel Islanders still speak local dialects that stem from medieval Norman French.

The islands enjoy typically warm summers and mild winters with subtropical plants, an incredible array of birdlife, and the occasional dolphin pod.

Jules Vernes’s new Islands in the Channel tour includes:

  •     Iconic Castles
  •     Scenic Landscape
  •     Private tour of Jersey War Tunnels
  •     Natural Wonders
  •     Victor Hugo’s Hauteville House
  •     Horse Drawn Cart Tour of Sark
  •     Expert Local Guides

Guests will explore a landscape of fields, shaded wooded lanes, sheltered bays and craggy coastlines that merge with the Atlantic Ocean.

They will also discover ruins older than the pyramids, ancient castles that sheltered the island from invasion and the mysterious secrets of underground world war bunkers.

Also included on the itinerary are white sandy beaches, fascinating history, fresh local food, and interaction with friendly locals.

For six nights, per person in a twin or double room, departing from London Gatwick with EasyJet, prices are transparent and guaranteed.

  • September 17, £1,995
  • October 1, £1,955
  • October 15, £1935
