Amadeus River Cruises will re-introduce its Magic of Advent on the Rhine & Main itinerary which will operate an exclusive sailing on 2nd December 2024.
The seven-night cruise from Strasbourg to Nuremberg travels along the Rhine to Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest towns and Mannheim, which is situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar rivers.
Guests will also sail to Mainz, the capital of the beautiful Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany to sample local delicacies or visit the Gutenberg Museum, one of the oldest printing museums in the world.
The ship will then cruise along the Main to the commercial hub Frankfurt and onward to the romantic, medieval towns of Wiltenberg and Wertheim.
The final stops are in Wurzburg, located in the centre of the Franconian wine-growing district, and Bamberg, one of Germany’s most beautiful towns.
The cruise takes place onboard the 164-guest Amadeus Star with prices starting from £875 per person.
All meals, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, onboard entertainment, use of bicycles for independent exploration, WiFi and port fees are included.
