Utopia of the Seas Arrives In Port Canaveral

Royal Caribbean International’s Utopia of the Seas has arrived in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, for the first time.

The cruise ship will make its official debut on Friday, July 19, with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday getaways to Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and Nassau in The Bahamas.

Utopia of the Seas was welcomed by more than 2,000 crew members who celebrated across Utopia’s vibrant Caribbean pool deck.

Up next is a celebration featuring Utopia’s newly revealed godmother, GRAMMY-winning artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor.

In a statement, Royal Caribbean International said that Utopia brings “unmatched weekend energy to everyone and every day of the week”, with a combination of ways to celebrate any occasion or just get away.

On deck are more than 40 ways to dine, drink and party, including a lineup of parties only on Utopia, two casinos, and a new Caribbean tiki bar – The Pesky Parrot.

Guests can also look forward to Royal Railway – Utopia Station, a first-of-its-kind immersive train car dining experience.

Also on board are eight different pools, 18 thrill-inducing slides, 2 kids aqua parks, the FlowRider Surf Simulator, the longest dry-slide at sea The Ultimate Abyss, show-stopping entertainment across air, ice, water and stage and more at Perfect Day at CocoCay.

The ship also features 20 different types of accommodations in 2,834 staterooms – 176 suites, 1,918 balconies, and 168 ocean-view rooms.
