The collection includes seven different European Camino routes and three pilgrimage paths in Japan, with longer trails broken into stages, forming the 23 new holidays.

Paul Britchford, Head of Operations at Headwater Active Holidays, said: “We’ve really seen the rise in travellers seeking more meaningful, mindful travel experiences, which is why we’re thrilled to launch such an extensive Pilgrimage Collection.

“A pilgrimage is more than just a holiday; it is a journey that allows you to slow down and become immersed in centuries of history. We’re proud of the collection that has been built and can’t wait to connect travellers with these special routes.”

Whilst known for their spiritual significance, pilgrimages are the perfect option for anyone who enjoys staying active, connecting with the local traditions of the places they visit and exploring paths well-trodden.

Please see below for the routes included in the collection.
