Headwater Active Holidays has announced a new sale for 2026 travel. The offer will provide customers with savings of up to 20% on selected trips booked between 29 December 2025 and 22 January 2026 and is valid on all departures between 1 January and 31 December 2026.*

Marking the operator’s biggest ever sale, travellers can unlock unbeatable value on a wide range of Headwater holidays included in the January offer.
The news follows Headwater’s announcement of two new collections for 2026 – pilgrimages and cultural tours and the introduction of three new walking trips, two cycling holidays and one snow adventure – the first of many new holidays to be revealed next year.

For Nature Holidays – Costa Rica: Rainforests, Volcanoes & Pacific Paradise – save up to £686 per couple
This 12-night locally guided tour will showcase the landscapes, wildlife and incredible ecosystems of the Central American country. Highlights include discovering the canals of the Tortugero National Park, visiting the Rio Celeste waterfall and taking in the views in Monteverde’s cloud forest.
Travellers will also get the chance to stroll the white sands of Manuel Antonio National Park.
For Cycling Holidays – Cycle from Tui to Santiago in Style: Stay in Historic Paradors Hotels – save up to £524 per couple
A cycling holiday that unlocks Galicia’s Celtic heritage, timeless folklore and Spain’s finest wine and seafood. Cyclists will journey along coastal paths and Via Verde trails, including a stretch of Camino de Santiago.
The itinerary begins in the historic city of Tui and journeys through Baiona, Pontevedra, Cambados and concludes in Santiago de Compostela. Travellers will have the chance to stay at the iconic Parador de Santiago de Compostela.

Walkers will enjoy the blend of French and German influences on the local cuisine and wine, and also visit Roman ruins and lively market squares.
For Pilgrimages – Camino Frances: Stage 4 and 5 – Leon to Santiago de Compostela – save up to £200 per couple
The Camino Francés, also known as The French Way, is one of the most popular pilgrimage journeys in Europe. The pilgrimage runs from the Pyrenees Mountains, across the Meseta, over the Cruz de Ferro and into the hills of Galicia. Stages four and five allow walkers to visit Leon and its Gothic Cathedral, churches and plazas.
They will walk past the Cruz de Ferro and O Cebreiro and conclude in Santiago de Compostela – a UNESCO World Heritage city.
