The longest eclipse of the century will be viewable from Egypt in 2027, but agents will need to act fast if they want to secure places on dedicated tours.

Just Go! Holidays’ first eclipse-themed tour to the region quickly sold out, and only a few places are available on an additional tour that was then added.

With a third option, incorporating a Nile cruise, which has just gone on sale, there is still an opportunity for agents to secure a place for their clients.

The nine-day ‘Solar Eclipse and Magic of the Nile’ trip departing on 27 July 2027 packs a punch when it comes to bucket list experiences.

Includes a river cruise, a traditional felucca experience, a guided tour of the brand new Grand Egyptian museum, seeing first-hand the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, as well as a private Eclipse viewing experience in Luxor. The trip costs from £4,499 per person

Meanwhile, a brand new five-day ‘North Iceland: Natural Wonders and the Northern Lights’ takes explores Lake Myvatn and the Arctic coastline and takes in a whale watching cruise.

Guests are accompanied by Pete Lawrence from the BBC’s Sky at Night who will be on hand to help guests learn more about the Northern Lights and night sky. The trip departs on 3 March 2027 and costs from £1,699 per person.
