Emerald Cruises & Tours has unveiled its 2026/2027 Southeast Asia river cruise programme, operating from July 2026 to May 2027. The season features almost 200 departures along the Mekong on Emerald Harmony, and land tours in Laos and Japan.

A total of 17 itineraries are available, including the new 11-day ‘Enchanting Mekong and Siem Reap’ cruise and tour and an enhanced 26-day ‘Wonders of Japan, Vietnam and Cambodia’, which now includes a tour of Japan at the beginning of the itinerary.
Highlights include:
11 and 13-day ’Enchanting Mekong and Siem Reap’, cruising from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. Features an eight or 10-day river cruise, visiting destinations in Vietnam and Cambodia including My An Hung and a night tour of Phnom Penh.
The itinerary concludes with three nights in Siem Reap, offering visits to Angkor Wat and immersive cultural performances. Prices start from £3945pp, departing August 2026 to May 2027.
24-day ‘Grand Tour of Indochina’, departing from Hanoi and beginning with a three-day Halong Bay cruise, before a voyage along the Mekong. In Cambodia, highlights include Phnom Penh’s royal palaces and a tuk-tuk night tour.
It also features visits to Angkor, Siem Reap and Luang Prabang. Prices start from £7495pp, departing September 2026 to April 2027.
26-day ‘Wonders of Japan, Vietnam and Cambodia’, from Osaka to Siem Reap. Highlights include visits to Kyoto and Hiroshima, and a Mekong cruise calling at Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Prices start from £12,430pp, departing November 2026, March and April 2027.
Shore excursions included in the fare range from an apsara dance performance in Siem Reap to a monk blessing and Buddhist temple ceremony visit in Cambodia, along with guided visits to UNESCO-listed sites and local markets.
Further shore excursions are available at an additional cost through the Emerald DiscoverMORE programme – which provides in-depth excursions and experiences that complement those included in the fare – such as cooking classes in Hoi An and silk craft workshops in Laos.
