Celebrity Cruises award-winning ship, Celebrity Apex, is set to return to Southampton for her third consecutive summer season with sailings to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.

Sailing out of Southampton from May, guests can enjoy an elevated holiday experience as Celebrity Apex kicks off her European season with an 8-night sailing to the Norwegian Fjords. Highlights include calls to Bergen, Geiranger and Olden, offering rich Nordic history and striking natural beauty.
The second ship in the Edge Series, Celebrity Apex modernises the way guests see the world, with outward-facing design and visioner spaces. Onboard, guests can expect enhanced food and drink offerings, sought-after spa and wellness amenities, and high-energy entertainment.
Signature features include:
- The Magic Carpet, which invites guests to eat, drink and soar over the sea while discovering the greatest views that Europe has to offer.
- The Retreat, complete with a private restaurant, Luminae, lounge area and sundeck exclusive to its guests
- Expanded Infinite Veranda® staterooms
- The Rooftop Garden, a living urban playscape inspired by childhood playgrounds and brought to life with the help of architect Tom Wright
- Magnificent two-story Edge Villas, each with its own private terrace and plunge pool
With 29 restaurants, bars, and lounges to explore onboard, guests can explore globally inspired cuisine, from the Forbes Travel Guide recommended Fine Cut Steakhouse to every sushi connoisseur’s dream with Raw on 5 and nature-inspired dishes at Eden.
Entertainment includes three exclusive stage shows in The Theatre – Rockumentary, Tree of Life and Crystallise – alongside a cabaret show in The Club and themed experiences across the ship.
This Summer, Celebrity’s newest ship, Celebrity Xcel, will make its European debut with Mediterranean sailings homeporting in Barcelona and offering 8–12‑night itineraries that visit destinations such as Cadiz, Lisbon, Madeira, Tangier, and Palma de Mallorca.
As part of Celebrity Cruises’ expanded Europe programme, the region will also host Celebrity Ascent, operating a selection of Eastern Mediterranean voyages out of Civitavecchia.
In total, three Edge Series ships will be sailing European itineraries in 2026, offering travellers more premium, elevated options than ever before.
