The tours combine eclipse viewing with exploration of Algeria’s striking landscapes, from bustling souks to silent dunes, ancient ruins to modern cities.

With both four- and eight-night itineraries available, guests can choose a tour that suits them while still enjoying the same rare viewing opportunity.

The two new offerings complement existing Algeria tours: Grand Tour of Algeria: Ancient Cities to the Sahara Desert and Highlights of Algeria, expanding the programme to offer a dedicated eclipse focus.

Debbie O’Neill, Managing Director at Jules Verne, commented: “Algeria has performed exceptionally well for us since launch, so the introduction of our two new eclipse tours to the destination is very exciting news for us, offering guests the rare opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse in a spectacular setting.

“These itineraries build on that success, combining this extraordinary astronomical event with an exploration of the destination. As it lies in the path of totality, Algeria offers longer viewing time and open landscapes that provide a truly special experience for guests.

“As with all Jules Verne tours, guests will enjoy the expertise of local guides and the reassurance of small group travel, ensuring a more personal and enriching experience throughout.”
