The incredible 20-night South Atlantic Cruise from South Africa to Antarctica expedition cruise is the first to have its single supplement removed, meaning solo travellers can take part from £11,875 pp.
On this voyage, guests will journey across the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Town to Ushuaia and discover this enthralling part of the world. SH Diana, a five-star Scandi-designed ship, will navigate from Cape Town to Tristan da Cunha, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula before ending the epic transatlantic journey in Ushuaia.
SH Diana will navigate the notorious Drake Passage. On departure from Cape Town, guests can admire Table Mountain, discover the cosmopolitan city, and indulge in delicious, fresh seafood. On route, look out for captivating glaciers, migrating whales, colonies of leopard seals, lumbering sea elephants, waddles of penguins, blue-eyed shags, and diving dolphins.
Guests might also see the endangered Tristan Albatross and the world’s rarest birds: the Gough Moorhen and the Gough Bunting. Depending on the weather, shore excursions include visiting South Georgia, the ‘Galapagos of the Poles’, home to three million breeding pairs of macaroni penguins and the grave of British explorer Ernest Shackleton (1874-1922).
The cruise culminates on the Antarctic Peninsula, where passengers can see glaciers and diverse wildlife.
