The resort says it is seeing a clear uplift in near-term booking behaviour, particularly for short stays, with weekend occupancy nearing full capacity in the coming months, supported by strong event programming, elevated entertainment and in-house sporting offerings.
This sits alongside positive forward booking trends at the property, with internal analysis suggesting enquiries are currently trending towards a 7–10% uplift for the coming season, based on current booking patterns across key markets.
Since late March and the stabilisation of short-haul travel patterns, regional short-stay bookings for the hotel are estimated to increase by 40% compared to recent months’ trading levels. Demand remains particularly strong at weekends, where occupancy levels are tracking close to full capacity until the end of July.

While parts of Cyprus have experienced softer visitor performance amid recent regional instability, City of Dreams Mediterranean says it continues to perform well within the wider market.
This momentum is being fuelled by a growing appetite for shorter luxury escapes, as guests increasingly seek immersive three- to six-night stays centred around dining, entertainment and integrated resort experiences.
The launch of the Wet Glam Pool Party Summer series on Saturdays throughout the summer is further likely to cement this upward trend, as City of Dreams brings internationally renowned DJs and daytime entertainment to its Limassol base.

Positioned as Europe’s leading integrated resort, City of Dreams Mediterranean offers a Vegas- and Dubai-style resort experience in the heart of the Mediterranean. It brings together casino entertainment, world-class dining, and leisure and entertainment experiences under one roof.
The shift is evident among UK visitors, whose average stay at City of Dreams Mediterranean is 4.5 nights – shorter than the traditional 8.5-night average typically associated with holidays in Cyprus. In addition, a significant proportion of bookings are now concentrated in shorter-stay formats, reinforcing the trend towards flexible, experience-led travel.
Average flight times of approximately 4 hours 15 minutes from London to Larnaca or Paphos, alongside more than 160 weekly UK-Cyprus flights during peak summer season, ensure strong accessibility from all major European gateways. Cyprus’s year-round sunshine further strengthens its appeal as a reliable short-haul luxury destination.
From signature restaurants and premium bars to extensive leisure facilities, spa experiences, retail and one of the region’s most sophisticated casino floors, the resort delivers a complete destination experience designed for both high-spend leisure travellers and experience-led short-break guests.

UK travellers remain a core growth market for the property. In 2025, the UK made up more than 25% of inbound travel to Cyprus, and City of Dreams continues to see strong enquiries from the UK and EU markets.
This is further supported by trade relationships with leading operators, including TUI, Jet2holidays, easyJet holidays, British Airways Holidays, On the Beach, Exsus Travel and Cyplon Holidays, alongside specialist golf and experience-led travel partners.
Limassol itself is increasingly being positioned as a “next-generation Mediterranean city destination”, with high-value travellers moving away from traditional resort stays in favour of destinations that deliver multiple premium experiences in one place.
This reflects a wider shift towards time-efficient luxury travel, where convenience and quality are equally important.
To support continued summer demand, City of Dreams Mediterranean is offering a range of seasonal packages through trade partners, with up to 15% off selected summer stays, alongside early autumn offers designed to extend the season into September and October.

Costandinos Christofi, Director, Resort Sales at City of Dreams Mediterranean, said:
“We are noting that travellers are increasingly looking for destinations that deliver everything in one place – entertainment, dining, leisure and nightlife – without the need to move between multiple venues or compromise on experience.
“We are seeing a clear shift towards integrated resort stays in Europe that deliver the scale and energy traditionally associated with destinations such as Las Vegas, but within a much closer and more accessible flight time.”
“What is particularly notable is the growth in shorter, more frequent stays. Guests are choosing City of Dreams Mediterranean for long weekends and mid-week breaks that feel immersive and complete, offering a full resort experience in just a few days.
“This reflects a wider evolution in travel behaviour towards flexibility, convenience and experience-led luxury closer to home.”
