ITINERARY OVERVIEW
The tour begins in Tirana, where clients are introduced to Albania’s capital, known for its distinctive mix of Ottoman, Italian and Soviet-era architecture.
From here, the itinerary continues to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO-listed stone city rich in Ottoman heritage, before heading south to Sarandë on the Albanian Riviera.
Travellers then visit the ancient archaeological site of Butrint, one of Albania’s most significant cultural treasures, before continuing to Berat, famed for its hillside architecture and the Onufri Museum.
The journey returns to Tirana for further exploration, including the House of Leaves museum and key cultural landmarks, before travelling to Krujë, a historic mountain town closely associated with Albanian national heritage, prior to departure back to the UK.
