The investment introduces new accommodation categories, refreshed dining concepts, and enhanced guest spaces, all designed to celebrate Jamaican culture, cuisine, and natural beauty.
Sandals Montego Bay (opening 18 December 2026)
The flagship resort is being reimagined with redesigned public spaces, new swim-up rooms, and ocean-view suites. Culinary highlights include Buccan’s Jamaican open-flame dining concept and Jamaica’s first Scrimshaw seafood restaurant.
The resort’s historic swim-up bar remains at the heart of the Parisol Beach Club, alongside the new Bay Roc Rum Club.
Sandals Caribbean Cay (opening 18 December 2026)
Formerly Sandals Royal Caribbean, the resort will debut a refreshed identity inspired by its private offshore island. Enhancements include new SkyPool and Swim-up Suites, expanded accommodation capacity, and new dining concepts such as Suppa and Keynote Rum Bar.
The private island, Sandals Cay, will feature the Parisol Beach Club with dining, a swim-up bar, and relaxed beach facilities.
Sandals South Coast (opening 18 November 2026)
Set within a 500-acre nature reserve, the resort’s update focuses on integrating design with its natural surroundings. New additions include beachfront two-queen junior suites, refreshed Overwater Butler Villas, and new dining venues, including BLUM café and Butch’s Island Chop House, alongside a new rum bar concept.
Sandals says the investment reflects its long-term commitment to Jamaica, with designs rooted in local culture and the brand’s evolution into a “Sandals 2.0” experience.
“Jamaica is at the heart of the Sandals story, and these investments reflect our commitment to its future,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts.
“For us, dreaming bigger wasn’t about adding more. It was about creating a Sandals 2.0 experience that also feels connected to our home. Every decision and detail was shaped by that idea. From new cuisines rooted in Jamaica’s traditions to spaces designed to reflect the island’s natural beauty, this next chapter is about building on that legacy and continuing to move the guest experience forward in a way that is not only elevated but evolved.”
