Aer Lingus Resumes Direct Flights To Seattle

Aer Lingus has resumed its direct transatlantic service to Seattle, Washington for the first time since March 2020.

From 7 July, passengers can travel to Seattle with five flights weekly from Dublin Airport. Fares start from €329 one way including taxes and charges.

Aer Lingus said in a statement that it is the only carrier offering daily direct flights between Ireland and West Coast USA.

In March this year, the airline also restarted its transatlantic services from Shannon, flying direct from there to New York and Boston.

Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer Aer Lingus, commented, “We are delighted to announce the Seattle route restart after a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Seattle has so much to offer both business and leisure travellers and we look forward to welcoming customers on board the route again.

“Aer Lingus is the only carrier connecting customers to the West Coast of the USA with daily flights, reaffirming our commitment to building our transatlantic connections”

Aer Lingus operates 14 direct routes between Ireland and North America, including flights to New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, Orlando, Philadelphia, Toronto, Miami and now Seattle.

To make travel easier, Aer Lingus has partnered with VeriFLY so that customers can ensure that all their Covid-19-related documentation is verified before travel.
