AmaWaterways has expanded its programme of Soulful Experiences sailings, which incorporate excursions and experiences designed to celebrate Black heritage and culture.

Best of Holland & Belgium – new for 2025
Round trip from Amsterdam incorporating the island metropolis of Hellevoetsluis and its medieval harbour town, iconic working De Hoop windmill and charming wharf houses as well as the castles and unique architecture of Brussels and the culinary delights of Antwerp.

Riches of the Mekong – new for 2026
Departing on 12th October, this trip combines two nights in Ho Chi Minh City with a seven-night cruise along the Mekong and a new central Vietnam land extension post-cruise.
Highlights of the new four-night tour include two days in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An, a hands-on Vietnamese cuisine cooking class; the renowned Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang, and two days in Hue.

Swiss Alps & Rhine Castles Christmas – new for 2026
Departs from Amsterdam on 15th December and offers a host of Black cultural connections along the Rhine River route, before ending with two nights post cruise in Amsterdam.
Highlights include France’s oldest Christmas Market in Strasbourg and open-air wine gardens, plus the Christmas Market of Drosselgasse, the cultural heart of Rüdesheim.
