Ambassador Cruise Line has announced the launch of Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea, a series of very special onboard events hosted by Ambassadors Jenny Powell and Kate Thornton.

The activity is set to debut on the Springtime Sunshine in Portugal and Spain sailing aboard Ambition departing Portsmouth in April 2026.
Designed to celebrate connections, conversations and community, Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea will bring together a line-up of well-known female broadcasters and presenters for a series of hosted on board sessions designed to inform, entertain and inspire.
Famed for their television, radio and podcast work, Jenny and Kate will be joined for the inaugural event by Andrea McLean, one of the UK’s most respected broadcast journalists, and Lucy Alexander, a familiar face from some of British television’s best-loved daytime programmes.
The first Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea event will take place from 17 to 19 April 2026 on board Ambition. Themed activities will include Women Unscripted – The Panel, where guests will be invited to join Jenny, Kate, Andrea and Lucy in the Palladium theatre for an honest chat that promises to be ‘unscripted, real and full of laughs’.
Cocktail Hour, which will see the Women Unscripted – The Panel hosts mingling with guests for a pre-dinner tipple in Ambition’s stunning bars; and spontaneous Meet and Greets featuring the foursome, whether it’s over a boogie in The Cavern, a morning coffee on the top deck or dinner in Buckingham or Holyrood restaurants.

The Jenny and Kate Unscripted: Women at Sea sailing will also shine a spotlight on Ambassador’s expanding programme of regional UK departures.
With more ex-UK departures than any other cruise line, Ambassador’s 2026/27 season features no-fly sailings from London Cruise Terminal, Newcastle Tyne, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol Royal Portbury and Portsmouth, marking the cruise line’s first operation from the region.
The addition of Portsmouth enhances Ambassador’s commitment to making cruising more accessible, offering guests across the South of England the convenience of embarking closer to home.
