Great news for Brits planning a trip to or returning from Bogotá, Colombia – Avianca has announced that it will resume weekly flights for its London-Bogotá route.
Flights are scheduled to take off from March 27th, 2022 with 1 daily flight and 3500 weekly seats. The airline’s announcement follows the UK’s lifting of entry restrictions for travellers from South America.
“We are pleased to resume direct flights between the United Kingdom and Colombia, offering more and better options to our customers travelling between Europe and Latin America, said Catalina Nannig, Avianca’s Vice President of Sales and Distribution.
Catalina also said that the airline will maintain the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet with an executive cabin and an economy cabin for all long-haul flights.
Together with the customization options of the Tailored Made Flights scheme, the airline has promised its passengers a first-rate experience.
In October, Avianca announced the choice of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner as its definitive fleet for long-haul flights, which will provide its customers with a more comfortable travel experience for their flights to Europe and with a smaller environmental footprint.
Tickets to this route are already on sale through Avianca.com, Avianca App, physical points of sale and travel agencies.
Through Avianca’s route network, travellers from the United Kingdom can access the main destinations in Central and South America.
Currently the airline has one of the largest networks in Latin America with more than 100 routes, around 3,120 flights a week and about 470,000 weekly seats.
