From 8th May, travellers can enter Barbados with fewer restrictions if they have both doses of either the AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNtech or Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
Travellers must still provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test 3 days prior to travel, a vaccine certificate and have a PCR test completed on arrival at the airport or their approved accommodation.
Guests must stay on the grounds of their approved accommodation for either one or two days and transfers must be completed by approved providers.
Non-vaccinated travellers must use specifically designated transport providers to approved accommodation where they are not allowed to leave their rooms until receiving a negative Covid-19 PCR test, five days after arrival.
Barbados Tourism Marketing said these protocols “are likely to change” as progress on tackling the pandemic continues.
