Barbados & Virgin Atlantic Celebrate 25 Anniversary

Barbados is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Virgin Atlantic’s first direct service to Bridgetown, a “significant milestone that is a testament to the partnership between Virgin Atlantic and Barbados.”

The airline is committed to providing passengers in the UK with daily flights to the idyllic island.

Virgin Atlantic’s journey with Barbados began in 1998. In 2017, Virgin Atlantic introduced a direct service from London Heathrow to Barbados, which remains in operation today.

By 2018, Virgin Atlantic offered up to 11 flights per week to Barbados from three major gateways: Gatwick, Manchester, and Heathrow.

Barbados is a 365-day destination, ideal for a winter sun escape. The island offers a myriad of experiences, including heritage, culinary delights, sports, arts, festivals, romance and luxury.
