Royal Caribbean International’s Vice President for EMEA has been appointed the new chair for cruise body Clia UK and Ireland.
Beginning his two-year tenure later this month Bouldin will work with Clia to support it 4,000 travel agency members and more than 50 cruise lines as cruising restarts in the UK and beyond.
Bouldin succeeds Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises Vice-President UK, and Europe who has held the post for the last three years.
“I’m honoured to step into my new role as Clia chairman for UK and Ireland and look forward to continuing Tony’s excellent leadership during his time on the Clia Executive Committee,” he said.
“Over the last year, the industry has experienced unprecedented challenges, but by innovating and adapting, we have shown how strong we are. It is now more important than ever that we continue to drive the industry forward as we begin cruising again in the UK and globally.”
Bouldin has worked for Royal Caribbean for the past seven years. He started as UK and Ireland sales director before being appointed associate vice president and managing director for the UK and Ireland. He was promoted to EMEA vice-president EMEA in January 2020.
