British Airways Increases Summer European Holiday Capacity

With the hope of European destinations moving to the UK government’s “green list” by June, British Airways has increased their summer capacity with more than 93,000 extra seats to Spain, Greece, and Turkey.

Despite currently being on the Amber list, British travellers have shown an increasing interest in these popular holiday destinations.

BA will introduce 26 additional weekly frequencies to Corfu, Kos, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Rhodes and Bodrum, with the flights available to book from today (Tuesday 11th May) for travel between 21st June and 5th September.

The move comes ahead of the government’s next decision on its traffic light list of destinations for overseas travel in three weeks.

All the expanded BA routes are to countries currently in the amber category requiring quarantine on return to England.

  • Flight prices to Lanzarote from £49 one way
