British Holidaymakers To Pay To Enter Europe By 2022

Under a new scheme from Brussels, British holidaymakers to Europe will now have to pay €7 euros in order to be allowed in.

The new visa scheme will come into effect by the end of 2022.

News about the timeline for the European Travel Information and Authorisation System came in an update from the European Commission on Tuesday (3/8).

The scheme is expected to cover 60 countries, including UK, Australia, and the US.

The process will be simple, fast, and affordable: the ETIAS authorisation will cost €7, which will be a one-off fee, and will be valid for 3 years and for multiple entries.
